The well-woman exam
A well-woman exam looks at your whole health — vitals and history, a breast exam, a pelvic exam when it's called for, and screening matched to your age and situation. You'll know what each step involves before it happens, and nothing proceeds without your okay.
Screening without the runaround
Screenings work best when they fit the person. Latoya talks through what's recommended for you, what each result would mean, and what's reasonable to repeat or postpone. You get straight information and room to think — not a checklist read aloud.
No judgment, no lectures
Bring the questions you've been sitting on. Changes in your cycle, pain, symptoms that feel awkward to describe — none of it surprises Latoya, and all of it gets taken seriously. You'll be listened to here, not lectured.
Common questions
Will I be examined at my first visit?
Your first visit starts with a conversation and your history. From there Latoya recommends what makes sense — an exam that day, screening down the road, or both. You decide together.
Can I ask about something embarrassing?
Please do. If you're wondering about it, it belongs in the room. Nothing you bring up will shock anyone here, and honest questions get honest answers.
How do I request an appointment?
Call (267) 724-9300 and ask for a well-woman visit. We'll talk through times, and your appointment is set once the office confirms.
